Emerald Lagoon Trekking
About the excursion
Departure from the hotel by minibus by road (20 kms) to the Tierra Mayor valley. After equipping ourselves with crampons or snowshoes we start the hike, during which we cross large snow-covered valleys, frozen streams and centenary forests of lenga and coihue trees.
The Esmeralda Lagoon is located in the heart of the Tierra del Fuego Natural and Landscape Reserve, its geographical location in the middle of the Fuegian mountain range invites us to stop and rest on its shores while we enjoy our lunch. Finally we return by a different route and then we return to the hotel.

Departure times: 9:00 Hs.
It includes: Transfers, guide, box lunch, poles and crampons or snowshoes.
Permitted age: from 10 to 65 years old (Requires good physical condition. Suitable for people from 10 years old).
Requirementswaterproof trekking boots, waterproof jacket and waterproof trousers.
*It is not permitted for pregnant women, people with heart, respiratory or circulatory problems, knee or spinal problems, overweight. The terrain is uneven, at times sloping, wet, muddy, rocky, snowy and icy.
