White adventure
About the excursion
Departing from the hotel for the Tierra Mayor Valley we will arrive at the Husky Park where our guide will tell us about the history, care and training of the sled dogs.
We will visit the explorers exhibition and have the opportunity to interact with the dogs! In this great snowy valley we start the journey on sledges pulled by Huskies, after crossing the valley we enter the forest by an old lumberjack road, in the middle of this centenary forest of Lengas. We say goodbye to the Huskies and drive through dreamlike landscapes on our tandem snowmobile. After instruction, we put on our helmets and start our return to the refuge in a faster and more fun way.
The walk ends at the Hachero refuge, where we recover our energy with a hot chocolate. From the Hachero refuge we return to the Tierra Mayor valley.
To be taken into account
Place and time of departure: From your hotel at 8:30hs.
It includes: Pick up at the hotel, hot chocolate, Husky sledge and snowmobile.
Important: the guide can reverse the order of activities and tours.
The bikes are two-seater, i.e. 2 persons per bike.
Requirements: have a waterproof jacket, waterproof trousers and snow boots/boots/booties

Itinerary
Transfer to Nunatak refuge
The adventure starts from the hotel in the Tierra Mayor Valley to the Husky Park where we will meet and learn about the sled dogs.
Husky sledging activity
The sleigh ride is through a large snowy valley, where you will enjoy the experience for 2 km.
Snowmobile ride
Then you will start the activity on two-seater snowmobiles on a 5 kilometre trail.
Axeman's hut
A hot chocolate will be served at the refuge before the return.
Return to Ushuaia
Return to the city of Ushuaia.
