Emerald Lagoon Sunset Trekking

Laguna Esmeralda is an excursion for those who enjoy walking and being outdoors in contact with nature. During the excursion we cross large valleys, streams and centenary forests of lenga and coihue trees.

Departure is around 4pm from your accommodation. The hike to the lagoon does not present much of a challenge for those who are keen to exercise and have the appropriate clothing, but depending on the weather conditions the Tierra Mayor Valley can be wet and make progress difficult.

Reaching the Esmeralda Lagoon, one of the most impressive landscapes in this region, is well worth the effort.
After a 2 hour walk along the lagoon, you reach a dome in the forest where a delicious dinner with good wine is served in the light.

We start our way back along a 2-hour trail (approximately), and then return to the lodgings.

Information to be taken into account:

*The starting time of the excursion varies according to the time of the year: between November and February we can leave at 3.30 p.m., while in winter it is a night excursion.
**All descriptions and itineraries are illustrative: the times of the activities, the order of the activities and the attractions visited may vary, according to the evaluation of the guide and the characteristics of the group.

-Meals: Picada: salami, cheese, green olives. Lamb stew. Mineral water, soft drinks, red wine.
-Included: transfer from and to the hotel, guides esp/ing, dinner with drinks, trekking poles and crampons if necessary.
-Requirements: waterproof clothing and waterproof trekking boots.
